What makes you think that because you are a teen your brain is faulty or who has told you your thinking is distorted? Just because you are wild in your thinking and see the world from a different point of view, does not mean your brain is weak or not functioning fully. You are in the prime of your life and if you allow the effective use of your brain, you could be the next Albert Einstein or the next whatever you want to be.
You are gifted with a powerful brain from birth and as you grow, your brain cells increase in number and in size without any effort or input on your part.
However, even as the brain cells automatically grow, if they are not being used, they eventually become useless and disappear. Based on this information, realize that idleness will cause your brain to be sluggish and slow instead of being alert and awake. The effective use of your brain will no doubt yield and produce great results.
The question you may want to ask yourself is, what are some of the activities and exercises that can cause and help my brain to perform powerfully?
Well, will you consider learning a new language, playing monopoly and Scrabble, solving jigsaw puzzles, practicing mental math, and reading scholastic articles from Google and that is only mentioning a few? You have to learn to develop a habit of sharpening your brain and keeping it alert by getting it active at all times, but of course remember to take breaks as well.
A sharp brain will help you get your desired grades and make you the top of your class.
Do not believe or follow your friends who joke about in class and tell you schooling is not important. Truth is, schooling is very important and it is certainly a stepping stone to your better future, since it helps you acquire certain disciplines in life. For any teen who wants to succeed in life, you will have to be a student for life. Believe me it is worth it.
Take a close look and know that all that happens around you from the time you are born up until now are all helping create how you end up in life. Nobody learns in isolation or alone. As you meet and talk to people you are unconsciously being influenced in one way or the other. All your daily experiences and exposures are creating the story of your life. You are constantly learning and using your brain in one way or the other. Make sure you are being influenced positively.
What and who are the greatest influences in your life? Is it the media? The television is one of the most powerful and influential media. It has programmes and as they are rightly named, these programme your mind by sending positive or negative signals to your brain cells therefore making them function at it's best or destroying it.
Then again what kinds of music are you exposing your mind to? Are they music that challenge you to be your very best or ones that make you feel bad and make you want to be destructive. Watch out! What you watch and listen to are directly linked to your brain.
Who do you hang around all the time? What company do you keep? Remember that just by looking at the kind of company you keep your future can be determined. Try to surround yourself with people who motivate you to your uniqueness.
Do not render your powerful brain useless. Have you neglected it? Even if your have, as of today start awakening and developing those cells that are lying dormant. Awaken your powerful sleeping giant brain.
