In order for a nitrous solenoid to work properly it will need to be stable and durable. A stainless steel base can be used in the construction of the solenoid to help with getting the solenoid to work securely over time. It is a great material for the construction of a solenoid for a variety of reasons.

It is known for being an antibacterial form of steel in that it the chromium that makes up much of this alloy can handle bacteria at a greater level than other metals can. By keeping bacteria from developing on its surface the solenoid will be protecting not only the nitrous kit but also the engine that uses it.
A great amount of maintenance is not required for a nitrous solenoid that is made with a base. Stainless steel will not bend as easily as other types of metals can and it is more resistant to cracks. This makes it an easier part to handle among materials on a nitrous kit.
