5 Things You Have to Have For a Successful Teleseminar

In the past year or so, I've attended more than my fair share of teleseminars. I've also hosted a couple of them and have learned a few things about what makes an over the phone seminar successful. Some calls have been more enjoyable than others and it seems like these same 5 things always come up.

In my opinion, all telephone seminars have to have these 5 things in order to be successful and enjoyable. Let me just get this point out of the way, having an actual audience listening in, is not necessary for a successful teleseminar. Here are the 5 things that you do have to have:

  1. Content. Without content or something to talk about during the call, you're dead in the water. Make sure that you have content that people want to listen to. It doesn't matter if you're talking about how come there was only 1 girl smurf or the intricacies of derivatives and other financial instruments. Have something to talk about.
  2. Prepare. Take the time to read up about the subject that you're talking about so you don't look like an idiot. If you're interviewing someone, make sure that you read up about them. Have notes of somekind and if possible rehearse what you're going to say prior to the call.
  3. Work out your technical issues. Look, I understand that there are technical issues that are beyond you're control, however all the items that are within your control should be dealt with. Make sure that your microphone works, that your phone battery is fully charged, make sure you can actually share your screen if you're doing a webinar. Test and retest your technical issuesbefore the call.
  4. Make sure your attendees have the dial in information. This is a big pet peeve of mine. If you tell people that you're going to send them the call in information later, then by golly make sure that you send them the call in information. Better yet, when you send them their confirmation message and they're now on your list, send them the call in information right then and there. There's no excuse for not sending the call in info.
  5. Record the call. You have to make a recording of the call, otherwise you're wasting people's time. You don't have to make it available for a free download, but you should have the call recorded for your own use later on. There has been more than 1 occassion where I would've paid to download a call recording, but that was never presented as an option.

Bonus #6: Don't turn your call into a "telesellinar." It's OK to sell stuff during a call, it's OK to make the purpose of the call to sell something, but no one really wants to sit in and listen to an hour long sales pitch. Much like with article marketing, you have to give during the call, before you can make a pitch with an audio resource box.

Like I mentioned earlier, you do not have to have people listening in on the call. You can distribute the call recording later on or use the call recording as a bonus or something along those lines. If you're planning on having a successful call, then at the bare minimum, you need to make sure that the above 5 steps have been taken into consideration.

Teleseminar Selling - Attract Attendees Like Bees to Honey

How to rock your teleseminar sales right through the roof? What if you discovered an easy step-by-step formula to make massive income from your telephone-based seminar starting today? Here are 3 simple steps to get you started.

Step 1 - Setup a squeeze page and conduct a free teleseminar call.

Step 2 - Provide quality but incomplete information to give them a taste.

Step 3 - Finally promote them to your paid teleseminar call.

Here are step by step details that you can apply quickly and easily.

Step 1 - Setup a squeeze page and conduct a free teleseminar call.

It is very easy to set up a simple squeeze page and build your list before you go about putting your call. Your squeeze page will help you to build your list very easily on continuous basis and once you have done this you can promote your free call to your list audience. The reason that you will provide your free content in your call will get them to subscribe to your list easily. Here is the type of content that you have to provide your list members on your call.

Step 2 - Provide quality but incomplete information to give them a taste.

It is extremely important that you provide quality information in your free call because your subscribers will judge the quality content in your paid call through your free call. But it is equally important that you do not provide them complete information, rather divert them to your paid seminar and convince them to purchase for complete step by step details. Nor make sure you promote your paid seminar easily.

Step 3 - Finally promote them to your paid teleseminar call.

At the end of your call you can give a simple offer to your list members and ask them to purchase your paid seminar where you will reveal the entire system that will help them to solve their problems. Give them an urgency offer where you provide them a limited time discount if they make a decision right now.

Teleseminar Services - A Cheap, Money-Making Internet Business Tool

When it comes to Internet marketing, one of the most effective strategies will always be to offer the best services to customers and potential customers. Teleseminars provide an inexpensive way to provide a quality service, reach customers, pull in new ones and give your business image the boost it needs to stay competitive in a tight Internet market.

One of the primary objectives of a good business will always be to build loyalty with customers, and that's why offering quality services and products is so necessary. With a teleseminar you are going above and beyond the "here's the product and buy it" mentality. Rather, a teleseminar gives you an opportunity to connect with customers and associates through training, education, product information and customer service messages. What's even better is that you don't have to worry about getting in front of a video camera or traveling to some event location. You can do it all from the comfort of your office, home, or really anywhere that has a telephone connect.

You may be wondering, exactly what is a teleseminar? Also known as a teleconference, these seminars take place over a phone line called bridgeline, which carries multiple callers at one time. A teleseminar may have 5 participants or 1000, depending on the purposes and audience for the call. Using a teleseminar service makes the set-up and event production much easier than an actual seminar. Furthermore, the cost of travel and expensive material costs are eliminated.

The host of a teleseminar schedules a date and time for the conference and then allows people to sign up for the conference. A teleseminar can be free of charge or cost a participation fee. Prior to the scheduled call, the host will make sure the participants have the phone number and pass code they need to join the teleseminar from their home, office, or anywhere else they have a phone connection.

If you conduct trainings, advertise products or have need to communicate the same message to a large group of people, teleseminars can get the job done cheaply and with little effort. While it may seem overwhelming get started setting up these calls for your business, teleseminar services like InstantTeleseminar.com can take off the pressure and help you every step of the way.

Plus a teleseminar service can help you to ensure your phone conferences are organized, professional and come off without a hitch. Making sure you do it well can payoff big time down the road, as you can begin to sell the recorded teleseminars to customers seeking information.

While it may be tempting to jump on the latest Internet marketing bandwagon, in this case simple is better. A teleseminar allows you to improve your service to customers in a real way that is comfortable and family to both them and you, yet it is still a way to make your business more profitable and professional.
